My name is Tuheri Daniel Abednego, a WFR licensed Mount Kilimanjaro Mountain Guide since 2021, with over five years of experience guiding visitors to the Roof of Africa. My connection with the mountain goes back to my childhood, long before I became a professional guide. Growing up, I regularly climbed the mountain to collect firewood and gather grass for our livestock. What began as part of my daily life gradually developed into a deep passion for the mountains, nature, and the outdoors. I am passionate about environmental conservation, discovering new things, and learning from people from different backgrounds. One of the things I enjoy most about my profession is meeting people from different parts of the world and learning about their cultures, traditions, and ways of life while sharing the beauty and stories of Kilimanjaro with them. For me, guiding is much more than a profession or a source of income. It is an opportunity to do what I genuinely love and, most importantly, to live out what I believe is the purpose God created me for. Every climb is a new opportunity to learn, share experiences, inspire others, and create unforgettable memories. I am proud to be a Kilimanjaro Mountain Guide, and I consider it a privilege to turn my lifelong connection with the mountain into a career that I truly love.
